I sing to touch the hearts of others and the words of my songs give people hope that they can make it through the most difficult challenges in life”, says Dallas. “Music has been the BEST medicine for me!”
AHT4U presents several performances each year providing music for official military functions, public concerts, and patriotic musical support at nationally-recognized civic, patriotic and veterans’ organizations.
AHT4U provides musical support for military, police and firefighter ceremonies and functions, public concerts, school events, womens organizations, churches, charity fundraisers, weddings, background, dinner, dance and other community events.
Here are examples of the musical support AHT4U provides for military: Changes of Command, Dining In events, Changes of Watch, retirements, pre-ceremony music, music for inspection of the troops, and music for the departure of the official party.
Dallas’ music can be heard at sporting events for several professional teams, at nationally-recognized civic, patriotic and veterans’ events, at any upcoming “Shine Your Light Concert Series” or via the world wide web at www.ath4u.com.
If you don’t believe that a life can change in a split-second, just ask AHT4U Recording Artist Dallas. At the age of 38, Dallas sustained broken ribs, congestive heart failure, pulmonary edema, kidney failure and spinal injuries that left her in a wheelchair and without the use of her right hand. The doctors couldn’t tell her when she would be “back to normal” and the hospital couldn’t produce any record to explain what went terribly wrong during a routine out-patient surgery that was preparing her for a final spinal chord stimulator implantation.
End of story, right? Wrong! While she lives with residual lung, heart and spinal conditions, not only is Dallas no longer in a wheelchair full-time, she is able to ride her bicycle in mild weather and will be taking ballroom dance classes during the Summer months.
Dallas started writing the songs to her debut JUST BREATHE CD as soon as she got home from the hospital. In those early days, her voice was barely audible due to severe trauma to her lungs and heart. She never gave up hope and believes her faith and music was an integral part of her healing. Her pulmonologist’s remind her that singing is one of the best exercises to build her lung capacity.
Without knowing her story, you wouldn’t realize this recording artist lives with a chronic lung condition.
